Ingredients
Directions
In a pressure cooker add 2 tbsp ghee, ½ tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp cumin seeds fry for a min. Add 2 chopped onion, 1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste sauté well until onions change colour slightly.
Add 1/2 cup chopped mixed vegetables, ¼ cup green peas and ¼ cup sweet corn again fry 2min.
Now add ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp kasuri methi, ½ tsp amchur powder, 1 tbsp pulao masala or garam masala sauté for a minute or until vegetables are coated well with the masala.
Add 1 cup basmati rice sauté gently for a minute.
Pour 2 cup water, mix well.
Close the pressure cooker and cook for exactly 3 whistles.
Wait for about 10 minutes-open the cooker. Veg Pulao is ready.
