Take a pan add ½ cup jaggery and 1 tbsp water, heat until all the jaggery melts. Keep aside.
Take a large bowl add 1 ½ cups whole wheat flour, 2 tbsp rava, 1 tsp fennel seed
½ tsp cardamom powder, 3 tbsp grated dry coconut, 3 tbsp ghee.
Now add hot jaggery solution and prepare dough.
Make small balls from the dough, flatten lightly with your palms, and make patterns on the pressed dough using a fork. You can make any shapes you like.
Heat oil in kadai and drop the thekua in medium hot oil, fry till golden brown.
Thekua ready to serve.
