Rice Dal Papdi Recipe | Dal Papdi | Rice Papdi Recipe. Crispy & crunchy tea time snack, made with rice flour, moong dal, urad dal with regular spices. It can also be shared as a side with dal rice or sambar rice meal too.

Soak ¼ cup moong dal and ¼ cup urad dal in hot water for 15 min.
Drain off the water and grind to a coarse paste. Keep aside.
Now take a bowl add 2 cup rice flour, 1 tsp cumin seeds, ½ tsp crushed pepper, 1 tbsp sesame seeds and salt to taste. Mix it well.
Add 2 tbsp hot oil.
Crumble and mix well making sure the flour is moist.
Add 2 finely chopped green chilli, 2 tsp crushed kasuri methi and dal paste.
Without adding any water mix it well. Then add water as required and make smooth and soft dough.
Take a plastic sheet or zip bag and grease it with oil, place a small ball-sized dough on it, press, and flatten using a bowl or cup.
Take a kadai, heat oil, drop the papdi, fry both the sides on medium flame until the papdi turns golden and crisp.
Drain off the papdi onto kitchen paper to remove excess oil. Store in an airtight container and enjoy rice papdi or dal papdi.
