Jackfruit Appa | Manglorean Jackfruit Fritters | Halasina Hannina Mulka. Jackfruit appa is a sweet fritter prepared using jackfruit, rice, coconut, salt and jaggery. Halasina hannina mulka is very easy to prepare and are very tasty.
Rinse and soak the rice for 2 hours.
Drain water, and grind with 2 cup chopped jackfruit, 1/2 cup jaggery, 1/2 cup grated coconut and a pinch of salt.
Heat oil in kadai and drop a spoonful of batter into the hot oil.
Fry in medium flame until golden brown or until the bubbles are stopped.
Tasty and yummy Jackfruit appa is ready to serve.
