Raw Banana Fry Recipe | Balekai Palya | Spicy Raw Banana Stir-fry | Raw Banana Recipes. It is a popular south indian stir-fry recipe. Perfect side dish for rice.

Peel the skin of 4 raw bananas.
Cut them into 1 cm squares. You can slice them too. Soak them in thin buttermilk or water for 2 min. To avoid them from turning black soon.
Now remove from the water and add ¼ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp salt coat the spices well to raw banana. Keep aside.
Take a kadai heat 2 tbsp oil and splutter 1 tsp mustard seeds, ½ tsp cumin seeds, ½ tsp urad dal, ½ tsp fennel seeds, 1 dried red chilli.
Now add spiced raw banana and 1 tbsp grated coconut, sprinkle 2 tbsp water.
Stir-fry for 2 minutes till raw banana gets coated well. Cover and cook on medium flame for 10 to 15 minutes.
