Ingredients

Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan. Add 1 tsp mustard seeds. When they splutter add 1/2 tsp urad dal and 2 dried red chilli.
When the dal becomes brown add 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped tomato, 3 green chilli, ginger paste and all the veggies one by one. Then add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and 1/2 tsp sugar, salt to taste.
Fry for 2 min. Pour the 2 cups water into the vegetable mixture.
Then add grated coconut and get to gentle boil.
Keeping the flame on low start adding rava slowly.
Now mix continuously till the rava absorbs water.
Switch off the stove when the rava is cooked then add 1 tsp ghee.
Mix well. Rava Upma ready.
Serve hot.
