Boil 1 1/2 cup water in a kadai then add ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp ghee and 1 cup bombay rava, quickly stir and mix very well. Cover and allow the rava to steam for 2 to 3 minutes. Switch off the stove.
Transfer this rava mixture to the bowl and add 1 chopped onion, 1 grated carrot, 1 grated potato, 1 chopped chilli (optional), 1 tbsp chopped coriander, 1 tsp cumin seeds and ¼ tsp salt and mix well.
Divide the dough to 4 equal balls, then take butter paper or banana leaf and place a ball over it, gently spread the dough with your finger.
Now heat a tawa, just lift the roti with the butter paper or banana leaf and place the roti on the tawa. Now slowly remove butter paper or banana leaf.
Pour a tsp of oil from sides. Cover and cook for a minute. Flip over and cook both sides on medium flame.
