Soak 1/2 cup urad dal 3-4 hours and then grind to a paste.
Take large mixing bowl and mix 3 cup rava, salt, 1 tbsp sour curd and Urad dal paste together with little water to make a thin batter.
Keep aside to ferment for 6 hours.
Later, add 2 chopped green chili and 2 small chopped onion to the batter.
Heat a tawa and sprinkle 1 tsp oil, add a ladleful batter and spread it thinly.
Let cook for a few seconds. Add a few drops of oil if you wish.
Rava dosa ready to serve with chutney.
