Rava Cake Recipe | Eggless Suji Ka Cake. Easy and simple rava cake made with fine rava and chocolate toppings. You can prepare suji ka cake without egg, the topping of chocolate makes it even more interesting. You can easily store it for a week to be served whenever you require it.
Ingredients
Directions
Take 1 cup rava. Grind to fine powder, keep aside.
For chocolate mixture, take a small bowl add 1 tbsp cocoa powder and 1 tbsp oil, mix well. Keep aside.
Take a bowl add ¼ cup oil, ¼ cup curd, ¾ cup sugar, ¼ tsp salt.
Whisk and mix until the sugar dissolves completely.
Now add 1 cup milk and mix well.
Add powdered rava and ½ tsp cardamom powder again mix well, making sure everything is well combined.
Cover and rest for 10 min.
After 10 min add ½ tsp baking powder, ¼ tsp baking soda and ¼ cup milk, mix well.
Grease oil to a cake pan and line with baking paper. Now layer your batter into your pan, starting with rava batter, then chocolate.
And again rava batter.
And ending with chocolate. Use a butter knife to swirl them together gently. Do not over-mix.
Bake the cakes for 35-40 minutes at 180 degree celsius or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out cleanly.
Let the cakes cool for 10 minutes inside of the pan before unmould.
Now cut the rava cake to the size of your choice.
