Layered Namak Para | Layered Nimki Recipe | Laccha Nimki. Layered Nimki are made with basic ingredients like plain flour, salt, kasuri methi and oil. Directions
Take a bowl add 3 cup all-purpose flour (maida).
Add ½ tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, 2 tbsp kasuri methi, ¼ tsp pepper powder and ½ tsp salt.
Now add 2 tbsp hot oil and mix well.
Crumble and mix making sure the flour is moist.
Add water, as required and knead to a smooth and tight dough.
Now pinch a ball sized dough and roll to thin thickness.
Brush with oil and then dust with all-purpose flour (maida).
Fold on sides and again brush with oil.
Dust with all-purpose flour (maida) fold again and roll slightly.
Cut into thick strips using a sharp knife.
Heat oil in a kadai and drop one by one strip and fry on low flame till they turn crispy.
Drain off to remove excess oil.
