Take 15 Pieces Raw jackfruit.
Then cut the jackfruit segments into thin strips of medium thickness. Keep aside.
Now heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add ½ tsp mustard seeds and 1 dried red chilli, fry for a min.
Put the jackfruit strips in batches into the oil.
Add 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tbsp jaggery, 2-3 tbsp grated coconut and salt to taste.
Mix it and then add little water.
Close it with a lid and cook it on a medium flame for 8- 10 minutes or until done. Jackfruit Upkari ready, serve it hot as a side dish to rice.
