Butter Murukku Recipe | Benne Murukku | Butter Chakli the main ingredient for benne murukku is rice flour which is typically combined with gram flour, butter is added while mixing. Benne murukku is one of the famous snack recipe of Karnataka.

Directions
Take a bowl add 2 cups rice flour, ½ cup gram flour, 2 tbsp roasted chana dal powder.
Then add 1 tsp cumin seeds, a pinch of asafoetida, salt to taste and 2 tbsp butter. Crumble well with flour.
Now add water as required and make smooth and soft dough.
Take star mold and fix to the chakli maker, grease the chakli maker with some oil.
Fill the medium size dough ball into a chakli maker.
Directly Press the dough into hot oil like sticks.
Deep fry till golden colour over low flame.
Remove and place it on paper towel. Let it cool and store it in airtight box.
