Avocado Kheer | Fruit Kheer | Butter Fruit Payasam With Jaggery | Avocado Payasam is very easy to prepare and it is a healthy dessert. Avocado is a nutritious fruit loaded with vitamins, it is one of the healthiest fruits. Creamy, delicious and a versatile fruit. Avocados are known as butter fruit. In Butter Fruit Payasam we use jaggery and coconut.
Ingredients

Wash and cut the avocado, remove the seed and scoop the inner flesh with spoon and mash it with fork. Keep aside.
Add 1/2 cup jaggery in a heavy bottomed pan. Add 1/4 cup of water in it. Heat it and let the jaggery dissolve completely. Keep aside.
Now grind 1/2 cup grated coconut, cardamom along with 1/4 cup water to a fine paste.
Transfer this coconut paste to a pan and add melted jaggery.
Mix it well and let it boil on medium heat for 2 min.
Then add the mashed avocados.
Mix it well, let it boil for 3 to 4 minutes. Stir it in between.
Then turn off the heat and wait up to 2 to 3 min for room temperature. Transfer this mixture in to a bowl. Then add 1 cup milk and mix it well.
Take a small pan heat 1 tbsp ghee, add cut almonds, after few seconds add cashews, and then add raisins, once it puffs up. Turn off the heat.
Pour this fried nuts to the payasam and mix it well. Avocado Kheer or Butter Fruit Payasam ready to serve.
